20th October 2016

Dear Parents /Carers,

In school this week Nursery have found their voices and have been doing lots of chatting and making friends. Reception have been finishing off their self-portraits and learning about the skeleton. Year 1 have learned that there is a line around the world called the equator and have been learning about Rosa Parks.  Year 2 have learned that during the Great Fire of London the fire spread quickly because the houses were built so close together.  Year 3 have been learning how to tell the time and about money.  Year 4 had a trip to the Harbour where they rowed boats and acted out being Viking invaders.  Year 5 have been looking at the grid method of multiplication and continuing with their ukulele lessons.  Year 6 have been learning about shadows in science and about simplifying fractions in maths.

Teachers and children will be updating their class pages on the website every Friday, do look at what they are all learning. http://www.stmaryredcliffeprimary.co.uk/class-pages/
