Dear Parents / Carers

Learning this week Nursery children have been on another journey taken by Rosie the hen around the farmyard who was chased by a mischievous fox!  Reception children had a lovely time visiting the zoo.  Year 1 children have planted seeds and have been learning about 3D shapes. Year 2 children have been reading ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and have been learning the differences between ‘living’, ‘non-living’ and ‘never been alive’ states. Children in year 3 have been looking at spider sculptures and have been focussing on instructions for playing Connect 4.  Year 4 children have been learning about the digestive system and have been using Venn diagrams to sort 2D shapes.  Children in year 5 have been classifying animals and re-writing their story – ‘Tadpole’s Promise’.  Year 6 children have had an energetic week practicing bowling in cricket and their forehand in tennis.
