PTFA News: Year 6 Disco: Wednesday 13 July, 6.00pm-7.30pm. This is a lovely end of year event for Year 6, a chance for them to enjoy an evening with their friends before they all move on to new schools. We really need parent/carer volunteers to help with this event, starting from 5.00pm, when we will start setting up. If you can spare even an hour of your time then it would be appreciated. Please leave a message with the office or email us at

Freewheeling Week: Monday 11 - Saturday 16 July. We are still looking for volunteers for this event. There will be loads of amazing activities including a bike swap after school in the playground (Monday 11 July). Friday 15 July there will be the opportunity for the children to ride their bikes or scoot to school for breakfast and there will also be a family bike ride along the Malago Greenway. Saturday 16 July will be Freewheeling Day, 1pm-4pm in the school playground. This is going to be a fun day for all. We need lots of volunteers to help on Saturday with running the cake stall, the café, with the craft activities and the bike trail. There are various time slots (12.45pm-2.45pm or 2.30pm-4.30pm) at the event, 10am-1pm to help with setting up and 4.15pm-6pm for clearing up. We would also appreciate any donations of cakes or savouries for the cake stall and if there are any musicians out there who can give up an hour of their time we would be very grateful. If you can help then please either leave a message with the office or contact us on

Eid Celebration: Thursday 14 July, 3.30pm onwards, school playground. We will be looking for donations of cakes (homemade or shop bought) for the cake stall. Please bring these to school in the morning, they can be left in the office.

Tea and Tissues: Tuesday September 13, 9.00am-10.00am and 2.00pm-3.00pm. Every year the PTFA help to run a Tea and Tissues welcome for new parents/carers at the beginning of term. We would love it if some of you seasoned parents/carers could come along and help make the new parents/carers feel welcome. We will also be collecting small sized uniform for this event.

Many thanks, Mary, Wendy, Hannah, Lisa, Katy and Rose (PTFA Committee)
