A reminder of the 48 hour rule: If your child suffers with any vomiting or diarrhoea, please ensure that they do not return to school for 48 hours after the last incident. This school policy based on NHS advice and is designed to help stop the spread of stomach upsets amongst the children. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Term 4 Curriculum Afternoon: This will be held on Thursday 6 April from 2.30 to 3.20pm. A letter will be sent home with further details shortly.

Nursery Places: We have places available for a September 2017 start in our Nursery. Places are available on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning or a Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, Friday. If you or anyone you know would be interested in a place, please come to the office and fill out an application form. Your child must be born between 01/03/2013 and 31/08/2014.

Photographs: The school photo order was collected on Thursday, and so we cannot accept any more orders in the office. You are still able to order pictures of your child direct from Tempest – all the information you need is on the form.

PTFA News: A huge thank you for all of you that came and supported us or sent us messages for the AGM. We hopefully have a full team again, and we are looking forward to the year ahead.

Easter Egg Hunt: We still need four more volunteers to help with our Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday 4 April after school. Volunteers will be needed from 3.20pm-4pm, to hand out the egg hunt sheets and give out the prizes. The Egg Hunt will start at 3.30pm in the school playground. All children and any younger siblings are welcome to join in. Cost is £1 per child and everyone gets a prize. Non-dairy prizes will also be available.

Please email smr_ptfa@hotmail.co.uk if you can help.

Donations for school in Somaliland: One of our SMSAs, Sabah Egah, is collecting donations for the Go’o primary school in Somaliland. We would be very grateful for donations of children’s clothes/shoes that your children have outgrown; books and pencils. Please give in to the school office. Thanks for your support.
