4 March 2016
Dear Parents /Carers,
It was a fabulous World Book Day yesterday, thank you to the children for their inventive costumes and parents for their contributions – we raised £101.45 towards the charity Book Aid International. A huge thank you to the PTFA for all their support and enthusiasm in helping to organise these lovely events for the children, and to the staff for helping with the Bedtime Story session. We’d like to say a big thank you to author, Sean Taylor, who ran workshops for all KS2 children on Wednesday. The children really enjoyed these sessions and they have helped inspire them to write some imaginative poetry. We also watched our Stages team perform in assembly today and want to wish them lots of luck for the Festival of Dance at Colston Hall on Sunday.
