Reception places 2016.  If you, or anyone you know, would like your child to start in our school reception class in September 2016 please ask at the office to arrange a tour of the school with

Ms Payne.  Please remember that a place in our nursery does not guarantee your child a place in our reception class – you will need to apply for a place through the Local Authority.

PTFA. Winter Fair, Friday 13 November, 9.00-10.00am in the Library. This is another chance to get involved with organising the winter fair. Come along and find out what goes on behind the scenes, have a say. We would really appreciate your support. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Winter Fair, Saturday 21 November, 1.00-4.00pm in the School Hall. We have had lots of wonderful volunteers for this event but we still need more. Running the Winter Fair needs a lot of people!  We will be signing up volunteers on the school gates the week beginning 9th November. Please, if you can spare any time at all, we would be very grateful, there are still plenty of jobs.

We will be holding wreath making workshops to make wreaths to sell at the fair on Friday 13 November (10.00-12.00am) and Friday 20th November (9.00-12.00am). We would love you to come along and help with this. If you have any non-perishable items that can be used to decorate the wreaths, for example, ribbon, pine cones, bows or any other decorations please bring these along to the workshops or drop them into the office.

Christmas Disco. So far we have had no volunteers to organise the Christmas disco. Sadly, unless we find volunteers very soon, the disco will not be going ahead this year. Please, if you are interested in helping to organise this event then e-mail us on

Winter Fair Poster. Posters for the winter fair have gone into children’s book bags.  Please ask your child to colour them in and display in your window.

Remembrance Day.  We have a collection box in the office for children to bring a donation towards this year’s British Legion Appeal and obtain a poppy.

Children in Need, Friday 13th November Please encourage your child/children to come dressed as their hero. For example this could be a celebrity, a sport's star or someone you know who you admire.  Voluntary contribution of 50p.
