Congratulations to Yasin and Martha who will be Sycamore's school council representatives.

Congratulations to Samuel who will be Sycamore's collective worship representative.

Hello and welcome back! We hope you had an amazing summer holiday.

What a year we have planned for the children in Sycamore class! This is the first year of our new curriculum topics. Please take a look at our curriculum plan to see what we have in store for the year! If there are areas that you feel that you could talk to the children about then please let Mr Fry or Miss Shreeves know so we can plan in an opportunity for the children.

This term our topic theme is 'Giving Back'. It is a charity based topic where we'll be investigating the work done by Aid Box Community. The aim is for the children to raise money for this charity. Additionally, in term 1 the children will have the opportunity to go on camp in Dorset. We are very excited to test our skills and use our growth mindset.

In addition to our topic work, we'll be investigating light in science as well as sewing for our art project. If you would like to support the children during the sewing project then please let Mr Fry or Miss Shreeves know.

We all hope that you have an amazing year. If you have any questions or queries then please don't hesitate to come and speak to us.
