Children in the Nursery and Reception classes follow the Foundation stage curriculum, which covers seven areas of learning:
Personal, social and emotional development
Communication and Language
Understanding the World
Expressive Arts and Design
EYFS teach many of these areas through a range of engaging topics. These are enhanced by visitors and visits and by learning about world festivals such as Chinese New Year (See curriculum map and individual class pages for more details) Find out more about Nursery and Reception here.

FOUNDATION SUBJECTS & SCIENCE:
We use a topic based curriculum that covers all the foundation subjects . A range of cross-curricular themed units make learning engaging and enjoyable through a variety of teaching and learning styles (see curriculm map for details of themes).
The curriculum reflects the locality and cultural diversity of the school. The themes are enhanced by visits and visitors. Every term, apart from term 2, parents are invited in to a curriculum afternoon where they can learn all about their child's learning that term.
