James and subtraction!

This week we have written diary entries from James' perspective, including how he felt when his parents died. He felt lost, lonely and shocked when a rhino escaped from London Zoo and killed his parents. He also had butterflies in his tummy because he wasn't sure what would happen next to him.

We also wrote diary entries from Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker's perspective. They were very smug when their sister died as they were jealous of her being their parents favourite.

Subtraction has been the focus of our Math this week. We have used rulers, numberlines to 100 to help use solve subtraction problems. Some of us have used column subtraction, with decomposition, to help subtract larger numbers.
