We saw two googly eyes, two furry ears and a black nose so we ran away, all the way back to school! We don't think we will go on a polar bear hunt again!

Week 2
This week 12/1/15 Chilly the Penguin was feeling homesick so his mum sent us some ice to remind him of home. We had great fun exploring the ice. It was cold! It quickly melted and turned into water. So then we thought about how we could make him some more. We left some water in the room but it didn't turn into ice so we put some in the freezer and that worked.
Then Chilly's mum sent us some of his toys but they were frozen in ice! We had to work out how to get them out. We tried bashing the ice but that was hard work so then we poured warm water on it and that quickly melted the ice. Chilly was happy when we got his toys out.

This week Chilly the Penguin has been sent to us to look after. We thought about ways we could make him feel at home.
Some of us thought we could make him some friends so he wouldn't be lonely. We thought we could turn off the heating so he wouldn't be too hot but then we might get cold, so we decided to make him a fridge to sit in! It even started to snow in Nursery!
