Outdoor Learning

July 2016

International week has begun and the KS2 children are cooking up some wonderful vegetarian recipes in the farm's outdoor kitchen. Each recipe relates to the country being studied by each class during International Week. Where possible, children are harvesting and using ingredients that they planted at the farm earlier in the year.

April - June 2016

At allotment club, children have been planting a wide range of crops to harvest later in the year and they have made an amazing pond. Many thanks to all the adults who have helped to make this such a special club for the children. Please see the photos below.

March 2016

We have finally planted our trees from the 'One tree per child' project. Many of you received fruit trees for your garden, but this was an opportunity for children who didn't have a space to plant their trees at home to plant them in the local community. The trees have been planted in Cotswold Road North. One of the children said "When we grow up we can come back here and say I planted those when I was a kid!" Please see photos below.
