Welcome to Reception!
Welcome to Sunshine Class. We are all fantastic learners and we support each other to be best we possibly can be. We also have a little help from our learning animal friends.
The bee works with others as part of a team.
The tortoise keeps trying when things become difficult.
The unicorn is very creative and prepared to take risks in order to learn new things.
The spider makes learning connections.
The cat is curious to find out more and asks interesting questions.
This term we are starting a new topic about Pirates and inaginary journeys.
Our core value is Trust and we are developing our speaking and listening skills.
Find out more by reading the Term 6 - 'Things You Need to Know Letter' which can be found below the photographs.
Week 6 was another busy week. First of all, I would like to thank all those parents and carers who attended our Edison afternoon. We managed to pack a lot in to a short space of time and it was great that we were able to use the outside area too. I would also like to thank Sunshine class for being really sensible when next year's children came for a stay and play visit on Monday. The new children and their families felt really welcome. Sunshine also had their first of three transition sessions in Year 1 with their new teacher Miss McNab. The children painted portraits with her and the quality of these was absolutely amazing, showing how much progress they have made in art since the start of the academic year (when they painted portraits for the front of their learning diaries.)
Few new photos from this week below - please have a look!
Have a great sunny weekend !
