WC 4th December 2017
This has been a really busy week with lots of highlights, including our first trip to St. Mary Redcliffe Church and our first performance of the Christmas play. Thanks so much for all your support with these events during such a busy time of year. More photos to follow here shortly. We have put together a pack of activities for the children to practise over the holidays during rainy afternoons. This will be handed out next week.
Have a great weekend
This week we have started learning about the Christmas story and we watched a video of an artist telling the story through pictures using sand and a light box. We have also been singing songs for our Christmas Play called 'Sparkle', which we will be performing on the 8th and 11th of December. In Maths we have been learning how to find 1 more in various different ways including adding 1 more object to a group, counting on one number in our heads and jumping one place forwards on a number track. In Literacy we have finished consolidating all of the sounds taught so far and have been using our 'Robot Talk' in order to segment sounds in words and write them down.
