Our topic this term is 'The Owl and the Pussycat'. We will explore lots of different things through Edward Lear's famous poem.

World Book Day

 

On Thursday 3rd March we celebrated World Book Day. We took part in a book sale, we had a Roald Dahl inspired lunch, we played 'Guess the Book', we made book marks and we dressed up.

After school, before bedtime some of us came back in our pyjamas and listened to stories and drank hot chocolate. It was so much fun!

"In P.E, we have been playing dodgeball." (Giulia)

 

"For Sports Relief, we ran around the playground six times and that was a whole mile!" (Noor and Louis)

 

"This week, Year 2 children at Yeading Infant School in Hayes sent us letters so we wrote back to them." (Kai)

 

"In music, we were making music with instruments and our bodies to go with 'The Owl and the Pussycat'." (Dominic)
