Welcome back to a very lively Term 4! We are concentrating on story and rhyme - what makes a good story? who is in the story? what is your favourite story and could you imagine a different ending to it?
When you read together over the next few weeks, ask your children these questions and see what they come up with!
We started the week by looking at Humpty Dumpty and why he kept falling off a wall. We decided he could have sat on a chair or in a hammock and then he wouldn't roll off!
We created our own puppet shows and stories and have enjoyed exploring eggs and where we can put them to find again.
While outside, we collected different length sticks which had been blown off the trees and thought about which ones were longer or shorter, and which ones were tiny.
World Book Day is next Thursday - come dressed as your favourite book character!
Your children are also bringing home a set of Book Trust books to enjoy together.
Happy weekend everyone.
