This week we have been delighted to see colourful posters on our school walls to promote and persuade children in our school to vote for different parties. Each political party was made up of children from Year 1-6, and they decided how they wanted to spend 300 pounds to imporve the school. On Thursday every child in the school got to vote for the party they thought would make the biggest impact on their school life. We went into the hall and recieved a ballot paper from Miss Swift. We then took it into a voting booth and placed a cross on our chosen party. All votes are being counted and we will know the winning party on Friday.

During our assembly, Ms Payne introduced an election which we will all be taking part in. Children will be put into teams, and they have to decide how to spend 300 pounds. They will present their ideas to the school and we will vote which one we think will be best for the school.
On Tuesday Mr Roberts came in and we created our own exhibitions to teach people, especially Bob, how to lead a healthy lifestyle. We will be following up on this later in the topic.
We explored the digestive system, using bread, water, coca cola, tights and a masher... and a bowl!
We also drew our own Bob, including his organs, muscles and bones.
"I almost vomitted as it was stomach turning experience when we saw the digestive system demonstration." said Miles.
"It looked like ...." said Jabez.
