We have had a really busy exciting week.
- On Monday we made our own water worlds. Have a look at our photos!
- On Tuesday we had Curriculum Afternoon, lots of parents came in to see our dance for the spring show!
- On Wednesay we wrote our own wishingt tales using everything we have learnt this term.
- We have been practising counting backwards from any number up to 100. We were noticing patterns to help us.
- On Thursday we walked to the aquarium for our school trip. We had a tour and the man the told us lots of interesting facts about the creatures. We got to feed the fish which was very exciting!
- Today is the Spring Show, we have practised alot and worked very hard. Lets see how we get on...!
Monday 11th May- Friday 15th May
'This week we went to the farm. At the farm we did some pond dipping, searching for bugs and we visited all the animals at the farm. We had a brilliant time even though the rain was pouring!' Luka, Maeve, Nojus
'In RE this week we made posters about what to do in hindu temples. We included things such as taking shoes off and ringing the bell.' Giulia
'Today in science we planted seeds in cotton wool and soil and we will see which one will grow. We asked lots of questions.' Freddie
'Today in literacy we have been writing about our trip to the farm. We wrote about if they were carnivore, omnivores or herbivores.' Badriya

Tuesday 5th May- Friday 8th May
'We solved problems in maths. We had to find different ways to put the spots back onto the mushrooms. We were practising ways to make 10.' Luka
'On Thursday we had our own election at school. We had to vote in the hall.' Kai
'Today in Literacy we have changed our wishing tales and made our own story map. Yesterday we put our ideas on a story mountain .' Christvie, Tiegan
'In Literacy we wrote our own stories about a desert island that we had created. We used different sea creatures as our characters.'Louis
'Today in phonics we played the yes and no game. We took it turns to be the teacher and read questions and we all had to hold up boards to answer yes or no to the question.' Freddie

'Today we have been making our own story maps of The King of the Fishes.' Kai

'We have been learning some new words that were in the new story we have learnt. We learnt the meaning and have put them on the word wall. Some of the words are: stooped, scooped, thrashed. amazement and magnificent.' Louis
'On Wednesday in RE we made masks of a Hindu God called Ganesha.' Rania
' In Geography we learnt the 5 Oceans of the world and we built our own globe.' Lily
' On Monday we practised more moves for our dance, it is looking good! Also we have started learning the words for the song' Christvie

Monday 20th April- Friday 24th April
'In literacy we have been writing instructions of how to plant a seed because yesterday afternoon we planted wild seeds that will eventually be planted in the park.' Maeve/Isobel
'In maths this week we have been learning about weight and capacity. We weighed and ordered different fruit and vegetables. We looked at litres and millilitres and we measured different green potions. We were estimating and measuring how many cups would fit in the teapot. 'Louis, Nojus, Luka

'On Wednesday morning we had a visitor called Mr Roberts, we made our own island with him and talked about all the animals that might live there. We also made up a character who lived on the island, he had a problem and we helped solve it.' Badriya, Christvie
