PE
Intent
To provide an inclusive, broad and balanced curriculum that ensures all children benefit from enhancing existing skills or being introduced to new sports, clubs, teams and organisations.
Children will understand the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and foster a lifelong love of fitness and wellbeing.
We are part of Ashton Park Sports Partnership, which enables children to compete with many local schools and participate in a wide range of inclusive festivals.
Bristol Sport visit our school weekly and specialist sports coaches deliver PE across the school and children have opportunities to attend professional matches at Ashton Gate.
We are passionate about the need to teach children how to cooperate and collaborate with others, as part of a team, understanding fairness, positive growth mind-set and respect.
