WB:21/09/20

What have we been doing this week?

This week we have based our learning around the picture book What I like by Catherine Anholt. We discussed whether or not we liked broccoli and after a fruit tasting session, made a pictogram of our favourite fruit. We have painted pictures of the teddies we love to hug.

We read the book How Full is Your Bucket and decided to become "bucket fillers" ourselves, we thought of the different ways we could fill our Elm class bucket to make it a happy place to learn together.

Each child drew themselves as part of our class display Marvellous Me!

WB 19/10/2020 Last week of Term 1

What an amazing first term we had had with your children! We are really proud how well they have settled in, made new friends and have learned the routine. They have been very enthusiastic about all the stories we have introduced this term.

End of Term Celebration

This week we read "The Dot" and each child decorated their own dot biscuit and we ate them together in the outdoor classroom.
