Term 2

St Mary Redcliffe Church hold a Tree Fest where different schools and companies decorate trees and have them displayed in the church.  We would normally go and visit the church and see all the trees however this year it will be held online.  We took time to make the decorations, each child made their individual decoration and put wrote gifts that they can give to each other without having to buy anything.  The ideas included, kindness, friendship and a smile.

3D Shapes

We have been looking at 3D shapes for maths.  We know the difference between 3D and 2D shapes and we have been trying to name some simple 3D shapes.  We have also counted sides, identify faces and matched faces to different 3D shapes.

On Remembrance day, we made wreaths together.  We drew our own poppy and wrote at the top something for us to remember during the day.

We made poppies to remember the people that died-  Arthur

We remember the people that protect us - Omar

I want to remember the soldiers that died in the wars - Juliet

The people that died in the wars - Otis

We remember children that may have died - Ethan

Families that lives have changed because of the war - Jessica

We use poppies because they grew after the war - Stevie

We remember people that were affected - Barnaby
