Week 6

From Dance Festival to History Day - What a fantastic week it has been!

I have really enjoyed english.  We wrote a recount on our trip to SS Great Britain.  I really enjoyed making the bunting and flags ready to 'launch' the SS Great Britain.

We also got very excited this morning as we paraded around the playground showing off our Brunel outfits!

This afternoon, we designed our very own suspension bridge! What do you all think?

I have enjoyed the dance festival where we went to Ashton School and performed our dance to lots of other schools. Video link is to follow shortly!

I have enjoyed math's where we looked at word problems for 2's, 5's and 10's using multiplication and division.

Hope you all have another fantastic weekend.

Week 4

In maths we have been learning about division.  We have used concrete and practical representations to help us share and group them.  Ask us and we’ll show you how to do it!

In English, we have been working hard on writing a report on Brunel.  Did you know the SS Great Britain was the first ship to sail the Atlantic Ocean?

We have also been practicing our dance.  We cannot wait to to Ashton School to perform it.  Watch this space to see photos very soon!

In science, we have been looking at different materials.  We even started to think about what material we will use to make a bridge next week for our investigation!

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

See you all on Monday.
