Term 4
WC 4.4.22
Congratulations to Year 3 and Year 4 children for their wonderful performances of 'Peter Pan' this week. It was amazing! As well as 3 play performances we also had a trip to Forest School, where we made bird hides as part of our Design & Technology project (see photos below). In Science we learned about transportation in plants by setting up an experiment using sticks of celery and blue food colouring! We also performed the song 'Ain't no grave' on ukuleles, taking turns to alternate between the E minor and D major chords.
It's been a short, but busy term and the children have learnt loads!
Hope you all have a lovely Easter Break.

We've had a fun-packed second week of term 4. It was lovely and sunny at Forest school on Wednesday and we learnt to tie clove hitches and square lashings...we also looked at the different parts of plants and made our own plant pictures using natural resources to demonstrate our understanding. We have been learning more songs for our end of term Peter Pan production. We have continued our work on multiplication and division in Maths and we have been learning about glossaries and other features of non-fiction texts in English. The children have started to design bird hides as part of their Design Technology project.
