Term 4 Let's get creative!


In Science we have been using magnets to see how many paper clips we can pick up. The most was 86! Theo


In Maths we have converted and ordered fractions from smallest to largest - Ridwan


In English we have been writing our own endings of Goodnight Mr Tom - Freddie and Amro


In R.E we matched statements to pictures of Jesus' crucifixion - Daniah and Asta



In art, we used felt to make our purses, and marked patterns on it with dressmakers chalk. - Maisie and Daniah


In maths, we have been learning to convert improper fractions into mixed numbers. We have also learned how to order fractions.  Freya


In English, we have been writing descriptions about a setting. - Madison


In Science, we learned about the forces that pulleys, gears and levers need to make jobs easier around us. We then designed our own "gadgets"! -Vinnie





In Maths we have been designing allotments using fractions to help us - Isabella


We have been writing diary entries as Mr Tom and have been using hyphens in our work - Daniah and Javi 


We made WW2 Vegetable Soup in Topic this week, it tasted okay! - Bella 


Some of us went to listen to Greta Thunberg on Friday. We will be doing some work on this to share with the rest of the school. - Saul, Joe, Freya, Isabella, Madison and Adriana


Welcome back to term 4! We hope you had a relaxing break and are ready for another fantastic term.

We are continuing our learning about WWII and reading the book ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’, which the children are really enjoying.


 We are delighted to announce our trip to the Great Westen Railway in Winchcombe, Tewksbury for an Evacuee experience.


We will be participating in an evacuee experience. Children will go on a train journey. As well as the steam train experience, the range of activities encompasses a presentation by Museum staff, air raid shelter with sound effects, firefighting with hoses, singsong, spy arrest and talks by real evacuees.

PPA will be on Wednesday morning and covered by Mrs.H and Mr. Germain. PE will remain on a Monday and Friday.
