What a fantastic week! We started off with a trip to Bristol Zoo on Monday and took part in a rainforest workshop, where the children came face to face with snakes, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and other weird and wonderful creatures. In class we have been writing recounts of our trip using picture prompts to help us structure our work. In maths we have been looking at repeating patterns and we have created some lovely snakes with repeating patterns on them. We used corks, foam and other objects dipped in paint to help us print our patterns. PE has now moved to Wednesday and is being led by coach Akeel and his partner coach Davis...we are working on throwing skills and athletics in preparation for sports day next term!
Finally I would like to thanks all the parents / carers who made this week's activities possible. The zoo, printing snakes and going to Forest School would not have happened without you and we are so lucky to have you!
