Term 6

Welcome back to the final term of the year! We are looking forward to a sunny term full of lots of exciting learning. Follow our learning each week by clicking on this link. Our text for this term is 'The Iron Man', which the children are going to love. Lots of opportunities to explore writing different text types including newspaper reports. In music we will continue to build on the amazing progress we made in learning the ukulele last term. We are looking forward to learning some new chords! In Maths we will be learning about telling the time from digital and analogue clocks. Please do practise this at home as part of your everyday routine. For example..."What time is it now? How many minutes before we have to leave for school?" PE lessons will continue to take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays (pleas ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kits on these days). The title of this term's topic is 'Is it easier to live in the mountains or on the coast?' We will be exploring different types of map and what they are used for as well as comparing the Scottish highland town of Braemar with the English coastal town of Hastings.

Hope you all have a fantastic final term

Mr Hewett
